The case which was adjourned for hearing for today had generated apprehension around the country but today resumed hearing, Justice Adeniyi Ademola of the Federal High Court in Abuja dismissed applications brought by two persons seeking to join the lawsuit, after rejecting their applications the judge stated that he will listen to counsel to the plaintiffs to determine the legitimacy of the lawsuit. He also sated that related cases concerning election matters before his court will be adjourned until April.The eligibility lawsuit is one of the myriads of cases instituted by loyalists of President Goodluck Jonathan to disqualify his opponent, Muhammadu Buhari, in the presidential election. There are still at least eight lawsuits pending against Buhari and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) all of them aimed at scuttling the Nigerian general elections.Saharareporters report.
